Starting out at a young age drawing and painting, her love of fine arts led her to many different artistic paths.  Paths including digital and film photography and also her true underlying passion, fashion design.

During middle school she began sewing and creating garments with and without patterns.  While sewing came along a little later, Susan had been drawing and designing clothes since she can remember.  Following these interests she pursued a degree in fashion at Buffalo State College and also assisted a seamstress during a summer.  While being at Buffalo State, it allowed her to explore the different outlets of fashion, such as print design and the technical side of design, patternmaking.  Once officially learning patternmaking in a classroom setting, Susan found that to be one of her biggest interests in the industry.

Along with design experience, Susan also has great experience in photography, such as the many classes at her community college along with working as an assitant for a local photography business and also working as a photographer for the Corning Museum of Glass Studio, a world renowned glass museum.   She was able to attain the Departmental Art Award of 2014 at Corning Community College for her series of self portraits "Beauty Throughout the Decades".

Due to all of her photography experience and even before college, Susan has been using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator intensively.  She is able to pick up computer software, along with anything else, very quickly.  This is because of her creative problem solving skills that can be utitlized in any scenario.  These traits aided her in learning NedGraphics and Optitex which she quickly became very successful and comfortable with.

Overall, Susan is a very well rounded and well versed artist in many different mediums and can accomodate, learn, and be successful in all of them.  She is driven, hard working and extremely passionate about perfection in her art, whichever form it takes.
